Following Shen Youwei’s instructions, Guan Shanyan called the police. Gao Yun didn’t stop him but stayed to handle the officers while Shen Youwei continued styling Nan Xu.
This was Shen Youwei’s second time styling Nan Xu, so she worked more skillfully than before.
Because the police were called by Guan Shanyan, they first approached him. With the video evidence of Sun Yi planting the camera, the facts were clear. But Guan Shanyan suspected Sun Yi might be part of a larger organization, judging by the photos posted online.
“I suspect he wasn’t filming for himself. Maybe there’s a platform to distribute them and profit from it.”
Distributing illicit videos or photos carries heavier legal consequences. Sun Yi panicked: “Don’t slander me! I was just foolish for a moment! There’s no platform!”
Guan Shanyan glared at him. Given the previous incident, online chatter suggested a group or even live streams. Whether true or not, Guan Shanyan told the police: “If this filming is organized, the police will know. The camera might even connect to a live stream.”
Sun Yi’s face turned pale. If the officers hadn’t held him back, he might have attacked Guan Shanyan.
“Stay still!” The police handcuffed him, preparing to take him in. Lu Zhaoye laughed at him: “You? You want to fight my brother? Don’t overestimate yourself.”

Nan Xu sat in front of the mirror, keeping an eye on the situation. She had been filming short dramas for the past two years. After some success with The Female Lead Tears Up the Script, her relatives were eager to insert people around her.
Nan Xu found it amusing. She was still a short-drama actress, barely making money, yet her relatives were scrambling for a piece of her earnings.
Sun Yi had been forced upon her. She didn’t even want a male assistant, but they argued he could help with heavy tasks. Instead, he did little physical work and planted a hidden camera in the dressing room.

The studio was left with just three people and a dog. Shen Youwei sat on the sofa and exhaled deeply.
After time-rewinding, her body would recover, but mentally, she felt she had worked nonstop for two days.
It had been exhausting.
“I bought some food. Everyone eat and take a short break.” Lu Zhaoye returned with takeout and placed it on the coffee table in front of the sofa.

Guan Shanyan said, “We’ve done what we could. Whatever happened before isn’t our problem anymore.”
“Brother Guan is right. Today we caught that trash Sun Yi, and we have Tianquan to thank!”
“Woof!” Tianquan had come over while they were eating, and now hearing its name, its tail wagged even more.

One was Nan Xu, and the other was the male lead from After the Female Lead Tears Up the Script, starring alongside her.
